Chat Recap: Hits, Misses and Holidays

May 22, 2014 | Chats

As independent communication pros, sometimes we have to have awkward conversations with clients. Thankfully, there was nothing awkward about the May 21 #solopr Twitter chat! A global group of pros gathered to discuss current challenges, trends and the following topics of interest:

  1. Have you ever advised a client about personal style? How did you approach the subject? #solopr
  2. One of our participants wants to know: what has been your latest, greatest SM effort? #solopr
  3. What makes a great PR “hit?” How do you communicate this to clients? #solopr
  4. See occasional but increasing use of the fake press release (like this one: http://mashable.com/2014/05/21/gap-prank-bangladesh-fire ) -how can we protect clients? #solopr
  5. Next week is Memorial Day in the U.S., and @KellyeCrane is scheduled to be on vaca…  As is our tradition, what are your vaca plans for the summer (so we can hold each other to them!)? #solopr
