A Decade of Gratitude

Happy new year!

On November 13, 2018, Solo PR Pro will be officially 10 years old. On that day, Kellye Crane founded Solo PR Pro and wrote the first blog post that would launch this incredible platform. This past decade has been amazing thanks to our incredible community. In 10 years, Solo PR Pro has grown from a blog to a professional membership community. We are so thankful for your support, contributions, advocacy and ideas that have kept us cranking along for ten years.

This year, as we reflect on where we’ve been, we are also eagerly looking toward the future. We are pushing ourselves to keep learning and growing so that we can better support the work that you do. We remain committed to providing content and resources that are meaningful to you and help you grow professionally.

In our quest to do more and better things for you, we will be doing some retooling and experimenting with new platforms and tools. We took a break from our Twitter chats during the holiday season to allow us to determine how they would look in our tenth year. The chats will be back, but the format and frequency will change. As we finalize changes, we will announce them here and on our social channels so please watch those spaces for announcements.

This year we are also going to experiment with new ways to interact with you. We will be using Facebook Live, Video and possibly podcasting to deliver information in a variety of formats. One thing that will not change is our commitment to you – the Solo and solo plus professional.

Many of you have been with us from the beginning, and we are so grateful for your generous support of us and your fellow Solo PR Pros. Your insights and feedback are invaluable, so please keep them coming.

Even though we’ve been around for 10 years, there are many people who will be meeting us for the first time this year! We are excited to broaden our reach and welcome more of you into this community.

In 10 years we have learned a lot about Solo PR pros. You are highly skilled, resilient, generous and passionate about the work you do. You do not get 360 reviews, bonuses, or gold stars but work each day as if it’s all on the line. We are so proud to serve you and look forward another decade of growing with you.

Let’s make it bigger and better in 2018!
