Tanya Churchmuch

Overview

Tanya Churchmuch is the founder of MuchPR, an independent PR firm focusing on travel, lifestyle and LGBTQ markets. MuchPR works with leading tourism brands including Destination Canada, Visit Buffalo Niagara, Visit Phoenix, Visit Sebring, FL and more. A Canadian, Tanya opened her agency in 2015 when she moved to the United States from Montréal where she lived for 25 years. Prior to launching MuchPR, Tanya worked at Tourisme Montréal, overseeing their in-house PR team and global PR agencies for leisure, travel trade and MICE media outreach. She also led their travel trade team and all LGBTQ market outreach for the organization. Tanya is also a founding member of the Change Agencies, a network of independently owned PR and marketing agencies focusing on diverse and LGBTQ markets.

She’s an Advisory Board member of the Women in Travel Summit (WITS) and Past-Chair of the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA). She currently serves on the Executive Board of the IGLTA Foundation. Tanya is a frequent speaker at industry events including the New York Times Travel Show, ASTA annual convention, TBEX, the Women in Travel Summit (WITS), ITB, Community Marketing, IGLTA and many more. As a spokesperson, she has been quoted in hundreds of articles in media outlets around the world in both French and English.
