Company: Trailblazing PR
Trailblazing PR is founded and owned by Colleen Philbrick. With over 20 years of experience in fully integrated marketing communication, Colleen gets what it takes to move the needle and understands PR is much more than generating awareness. In fact, developing creative media strategies to open doors and drive sales is what she thrives on and has done for both well known brands and those that are up and coming.
Her diverse background spans both B2B and consumer accounts encompassing destinations, hotel chains, food and worldwide home furnishings, consumer electronics and outdoor brands. She has led the PR strategy for Motorola Two-Way Radios since 2003. Her creative Leaf Watch fall foliage campaign on behalf of Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites garnered a 2008 PRSA Phoenix Award.
And, as director of public relations at Hauser Group, Colleen Philbrick led the consumer PR effort for Wild American Shrimp, promoting the domestic wild-caught shrimp industry. The three-year campaign resulted in 2.8 billion impressions, endorsements by Emeril Lagasse, Paula Deen and a panel of chef ambassadors throughout the South.
Prior to that, Philbrick was promotions manager on the Mexico Tourist Board account at YPartnership, where she coordinated mulit-million dollar co-operative advertising programs. Throughout her tenure, she also led the promotional effort for Outrigger Hotels & Resorts and The St. Maarten Tourist Bureau.
