Year-End Considerations

Dec 17, 2010 | Chats, Getting Started

As part of this week’s #solopr Twitter chat, top pros in PR consulting offered insights on a wide-range of topics, addressing the following questions:

1) What are your favorite year-end tax tips? (always room to know more on this)

2) What other year-end activities do you make sure you do?

3) Are your clients asking you for more data these days?  Has the push to define ROI impacted you?

4) How do you stay abreast of all the new development in PR (Traditional & PR2.0: Measurement, eval strategy, etc.)?

Be sure to check out the transcript in PDF for wisdom from your peers. What do you think — any points to add to the discussion?

Note that this was the last Solo PR Twitter chat for 2010, as we take a break for the holidays. See you in 2011!

The #solopr chat – held each Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. Eastern – is a weekly ritual for some of the most savvy Solo PR Pros on Twitter. Anyone with a Twitter account is welcome to participate – see Join Us for the #solopr Chat on Twitter to find out how!

  1. One more year-end tax tip that just occurred to me: renew paid subscriptions now for next year, so you can take the deduction in 2010. More money in your pocket, sooner!
