Lynn Harris Medcalf

Overview

Lynn Harris Medcalf, MA, APR is an award-winning communications and public relations executive with more than 25 years of hands-on experience. Public relations is Lynn’s passion; she believes in the power of PR to facilitate conversations between organizations and their publics. A master at message development, Lynn has helped organizations solve business challenges using communications strategies and raise awareness about important issues that make a difference in people’s lives.

In her role as PR counselor, Lynn collaborates with a variety of clients to develop and support their strategic communications needs. Her hands-on work includes strategic planning and execution, conceptual messaging and positioning, thought leadership development, audience analysis and development, relationship management, and public and media relations pitching and support. Lynn works with clients to develop a customized public relations strategy and employ tactics that lead to greater awareness and success.

Lynn is an active member of PRSA, gaining her accreditation in 2015 and serving in various leadership and board positions over her two decades of membership. She has won more than 30 public relations honors and accolades throughout her career, including awards from PR Week, Bulldog Reporter, national PRSA's Bronze Anvil and numerous PRSA chapter awards. From 2015-2018, Lynn served as the professional advisor to the PRSSA chapter at her alma mater, The University of Georgia, and in 2017, she presented at the PRSA Southeastern Regional Conference.

In 2018, Lynn relocated from Atlanta, Georgia and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband, two cats and a dog.
