Join Solo PR Pro at the FPRA Conference in August 2015!

The wait is over – we’re excited to announce Solo PR Pro’s main event activity for 2015! We’ve joined forces with the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Conference to sponsor and help organize an indie-focused Solo PR Pro track. This arrangement comes with lots of special discounts for Solo PR Pro Premium members, along with the gatherings and unique networking opportunities Solo PR Pros have come to expect from our events.

The FPRA Conference, being held August 9-12, 2015, in Orlando is not-to-be-missed – make your plans now to join us!

Why FPRA?

  • If you look at the Solo PR Summit’s program from February of 2014 and compare it to the FPRA Conference Program from August of 2014, the synergy is clear! Many of our speakers later presented at the Florida event, and we share the same commitment to quality programming.
  • The organizers of the FPRA event are fans of Solo PR Pro and believe in our independent way of doing things. I’ll be helping them attract top speakers and organize a track focused on indie communicators to address the needs of the Solo PR community, as well as any of their attendees looking to do more with less.
  • The resort has its own lazy river!

In easy-to-fly-to Orlando, FPRA consistently offers its conference attendees an amazing deal on resort quality accommodations. The 2015 event will be held at the beautiful Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, and conference attendees get the terrific rate of $129 per night (plus tax, but no resort fee). The rate applies three days pre- and post- event, so you can bring your family (or hang out with your Solo PR friends) and make it a vacation!

  • We’re happy to share that the FPRA Conference is welcoming Solo PR Pro attendees with special rates that match the rates they offer their own members. We’ll be concentrating most of the indie track sessions on one day of the event, so our most budget conscious members can take advantage of the $400 one-day rate (includes breakfast and lunch). Or, you can choose to attend all two and a half days of conference sessions at the special rate of $550 – created just for Solo PR Pro (includes breakfasts and lunches)! For those who’d like to take advantage of the full conference experience, which in addition to breakfasts and lunches also includes the conference’s premium meals and events: Sunday Night’s President’s Welcome Reception, Monday’s Presidents’ Luncheon, and Tuesday’s Golden Image Awards Dinner – the discounted rate is $725.
  • This well-respected conference is in its 77th year (wow!). Many in the Solo PR Pro community have spoken at and/or attended this event, and give it rave reviews.

As we’ve announced previously, there won’t be a Solo PR Summit in 2015 – instead, our collaboration with the FPRA Conference will take the event experience to the next level by offering all the qualities attendees loved about the Summit, with the additional breadth, professional development and networking opportunities of an established national conference.

1We’ll be providing more details, links and information as the event approaches, but – since many of us are currently planning our 2015 budgets – we wanted to let you know about this event as soon as possible. Can’t wait to see you in Orlando!

  1. The FPRA conference is GREAT! I spoke there this year, and it’s really something. Congrats on this, Kell!

  2. Thanks, Shonali! The FPRA has a great track record attracting in-demand speakers such as yourself, and I’m looking forward to working with them on a special indie-focused track. It’s going to be a great experience for the Solo PR community!
