I recently turned down a lucrative contract with a financial services company who appeared more slimy each time we met to discuss their needs. My wallet told me, &quot;yes&quot; but my gut screamed, &quot;no way!&quot;. It was a tough call, but I turned it down. Two months later, they&#039;ve been shut down. So glad my name was not tied to theirs.
